When Rannon got in touch with us to plan a surprise sunrise proposal for his fiancee Marie, we knew this was going to be an awesome shoot! This wonderful couple flew out from Minnesota to San Diego where Rannon planned to propose in the magical surroundings of Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, down on the sands as the sun came up. We felt so much excitement and anticipation the morning of the shoot, posing as just another couple on the beach enjoying the view, as we waited for Rannon to lead Marie down by the cliffs and into position. Everything flowed perfectly and it was so much fun to capture all of that pure surprise and joy, before heading over to congratulate the happy couple and join them for some more shots as we strolled back along the shore.
